BIOGRAPHY
I. Identity
Lou Armstrong is a rapper from Boston, Massachusetts, and the founder of Hitmakerz/HMF. Explicitly distinct from the American jazz musician of the same name, he has built an independent catalog and channel since the early 2010s.
II. Certified Hood Star
His 2012 mixtape Certified Hood Star, hosted by The Evil Empire, anchors his early catalog. It includes "Soy De La Calle," a track featuring Alex Fatt, Wilson El Mejor, and Temperamento — the direct source of his ERA617 connections to both Alex Fatt and Temperamento.
III. Catalog Continuation
He followed with the singles "Animal" alongside Cassidy (2013) and "Read Your Mind" featuring Cyrus Deshield (2013). "Born Ready" (2020) remains his highest-viewed official video to date.

"Lord Pray for Me," featuring Millyz, was released in 2021; its official video followed separately in January 2024 and is currently his most recently uploaded video.
