DOCUMENTED HISTORY
2016–2017
I. Fields Corner, Dorchester
Cash Gotti is a rapper from Fields Corner, in Dorchester, Boston — his own Spotify bio places him in that neighborhood and frames his music as a response to the hardships of his youth. His given first name is Marlon (no documented surname), per the "About" section of his own Facebook page, where he describes himself as "Marlon also known as Ca$h Gotti, a recording artist based in Boston, Ma from Fields Corner." Before adopting "Gotti" — a common nickname in his neighborhood — he went by "Strip Life Cash," per his own interview with The Hype Magazine in February 2020. His earliest documented output is "Summa Grind" (2016, with Young Lito), from the SoundCloud era, predating his presence on streaming platforms. 2017 brings his first two singles released under the name Cash Gotti: "Ace" (July 5) and "Proud of You" (July 16).
2019
II. 2019 — Bird Bath, Shoot Higher, and the Roddy Ricch Collaboration
2019 is his most press-documented early stretch. "Bird Bath" (February 1) arrives with a video directed by Denzel Deranamie and produced by Sean Ross, released March 11, 2019, and billed at the time as the first visual from a teased project called "Everything Dirty" — an EP never confirmed to have actually released on any platform (see chapter III). "Shoot Higher" follows (July 2). The year's most notable single is "Lips Closed" (October 31), featuring Roddy Ricch and produced by Sean Ross — a single credited collaboration, documented on both platforms and presented here as exactly that: a one-time credit, with no claim of an ongoing relationship beyond that track.
2020
III. "Everything Dirty" — Teased, Never Confirmed
On February 7, 2020, he releases the video for "They Know" (142,247 views), also billed at the time as part of the same teased project, "Everything Dirty." As of this research, no release under that title has appeared on Spotify or Apple Music — it was a project named in his own video descriptions, of unconfirmed status, and is presented here exactly as that: teased, never confirmed as an actual release.
2020–2021
IV. 2020–2021
"Break Night" (August 30, 2020) continues his pace of standalone singles. In 2021 he releases "Snakes & Vultures" (March 30) and "Broke Dreams" (November 28), the latter covered by thisis50.com on December 5 of that year.
2024–2026
V. 2024–2026 — Reintroduction and Present
"Nobody" (November 27, 2024), directed by @RIPADAM, marks his return after several years without new singles. "Been A While" (June 2, 2025) — produced by @IamTash, directed by @RIPADAM, and shot in Toronto — plays as an explicit reintroduction, starting with its own title. That same year he appears as a guest on "Trench Talk," from Dutchy DoBad's EP Where Is Dutchy? His most recent video, "Bricks To Rollies" (January 16, 2026, with Tre Suave, directed by @RIPADAM), documents his most current activity — with no confirmed release on Spotify or Apple Music as of this research.
