BIOGRAPHY
I. Identity
Flakoveli is a Boston rapper, raised in Villa Victoria in the South End. His real/public name, Pedro Cruz, is confirmed through his own YouTube channel, "Created by PEDRO" — whose banner reads "FLAK●VELI" — and a 2018 Mass Cultural Council interview that names him directly.
2013–2014
II. Early Catalog
His earliest documented releases date to 2013: "Bajame El Tono" and "Blocka (Remix)," the latter featuring Antidote (La Receta) and Brujo Live, presented by Capital City within the Agresivo Recordz circle. "I'm King" followed in 2014.
III. 2019
He returned in 2019 with a run of music videos on his own channel — "No Somos Igual," "La Rubia," "Ion Needa," and "Solo Quiere Fumar" — produced and filmed alongside collaborators including Dante Luna, Leo, and Gils.
IV. Collaborations
Beyond his own catalog, he's appeared as a featured artist on Brujo Live's "NOS2" (2020) and on Kokorote's "Amigo," alongside Kay El Agresivo (2013).
V. From Flakoveli To Created By Pedro
Flakoveli's music catalog is a closed chapter. Pedro Cruz's public work today centers on youth engagement and community development in Boston — he currently serves as Executive Director of the City of Boston's Office of Youth Engagement and Advancement, work for which the Boston City Council formally recognized him. This civic chapter is documented here as context; it is independent of his music career and not part of it.
