DOCUMENTED HISTORY

I. Mission Hill and the Name's Origin

King Brickz is a Boston rapper whose documented hometown is Mission Hill. His own Instagram bio tags his location as "MISSION HILL, MA," and CWTFB Radio's episode notes for Episode 70 ("Still Authentic," published May 2021) state plainly that he is "a rapper from Mission Hill in Boston," adding that he grew up in the neighborhood's housing projects — which, per those same notes, is where his stage name comes from. The strongest single source on this point is putinworktv.com, a small independent Boston outlet, which built an entire feature around him ("Jason Trimmins Visits Mission Hill With King Brickz to Uncover a Community's Pain and Power"), carrying direct quotes from him about his grandfather, his father's incarceration, his own experience with police profiling in the neighborhood, and his role in the community fitness initiative "Sweat Connect."

Apple Music's and Deezer's songwriter-credit metadata consistently list him as "Willie H. Barnes" across roughly a dozen of his own songs released between 2020 and 2026 — a probable detail, never confirmed by the artist himself in an interview or public statement.

2020

II. 2020 — Too Authentic and the Independent Debut

His documented output begins in 2020 with the debut album Too Authentic (June 24, 21 tracks), released under "2113086 Records DK." That year also brings his first notable singles: "10 Toes Down" (feat. Jadakiss, August 2020) — a 100 Proof release on which both King Brickz and Jadakiss appear as guests, his widest-reaching connection from this early period — and "No Apologies" (feat. Snoopy, December 2020). No material predating 2020 surfaced in this research.

2021

III. 2021 — Still Authentic, CWTFB Radio, and “Scared of Us”

2021 brings his second album, Still Authentic (September 17, 15 tracks), released under "Ten Toes Down." Its track “Scared of Us” (feat. Styles P) would become his highest-viewed solo-billed video, at 256,000 views — a one-time collaboration, not an ongoing affiliation with Styles P or The LOX. That same year marks his first CWTFB Radio appearance (Episode 70, May 2021) and, in August, his participation in the show's "first cypher."

2022

IV. 2022 — Remain Authentic and the First Grimey Gurt Credits

Remain Authentic (July 1, 2022, 14 tracks) arrives under "DBO gang/Ten Toes Down." Its track “10 Toes” (feat. Bam TP and Grimey Gurt) marks Grimey Gurt's first appearance on a King Brickz album — the start of a collaborator relationship that would continue for years, not a one-off crossing of paths. In May 2022 he returns to CWTFB Radio for a second appearance (Episode 124).

2023

V. 2023 — I Love To Be Hated and “The Pot Scrapers” with G Herbo

His fourth album, I Love To Be Hated (September 22, 2023, 15 tracks), is released under "DBO GANG." That year also brings “The Pot Scrapers,” with Loopy Ferrell and G Herbo — credited as a King Brickz track on Apple Music, it's the most nationally notable credit found in this research, though it remains a single guest credit, not an ongoing relationship with G Herbo. In January 2023 he makes his third CWTFB Radio appearance (Episode 157, alongside Mission Mike).

2024

VI. 2024 — Zipp'N Brickz, TAKE RISK TO DRINK CHAMPAGNE, and the KING BRICKZ LLC Imprint

2024 is his busiest year to date: in August he releases Zipp'N Brickz, his only full-length joint album, with 8 Zipp — a collaborator documented since 2020, when 8 Zipp first appeared as a guest on “Where I'm from,” from Too Authentic. Weeks later comes TAKE RISK TO DRINK CHAMPAGNE (September 20, 15 tracks), released under "KING BRICKZ LLC" — the imprint name he'll use going forward. The album includes two new tracks with Grimey Gurt (“Truth Hurts” and “Couple Times”). The trail of imprint names behind his catalog — from "2113086 Records DK" (2020) to "Ten Toes Down" (2021), "DBO gang/Ten Toes Down" (2022), "DBO GANG" (2023), and finally "KING BRICKZ LLC" (2024 onward) — shows no evidence of a deal with an outside label; it reads as the evolution of his own independent operation. In May 2024 he makes a fourth CWTFB Radio appearance (Episode 221, with Frank Beats and DiorTheProducer).

2025–2026

VII. 2025–2026 — AUTHENTIC and Recent Activity

His fifth solo album, AUTHENTIC (December 19, 2025, 12 tracks), also comes out under KING BRICKZ LLC and includes “Heads or Tails,” a writing credit shared with Grimey Gurt. 2026 keeps him steadily active: the singles “Gold Rush” (March 13), “Meech & Tee” (May 27), and “Worry Bout Yaself” (August 5) — the latter his most recent confirmed release as of this research (October 19, 2026), verified both through Apple Music/iTunes metadata and the YouTube video's own upload timestamp.
