TRAE DA KIDD

Trae Da Kidd is a trap and hip-hop artist from Boston, Massachusetts. His original YouTube channel describes him as an artist “born and raised in Boston MA,” and in a 2019 interview with Melz Tv he presents himself as a rapper from the city. No verified source places him in a specific neighborhood or records his real name.

His YouTube channel holds videos for “No Reason,” “Swervin,” “Goat,” “Like This,” and “Splash,” which the platform's own age labels place between 2017 and 2018. In 2018 he appears on “Pots & Pans,” from Plug Talk, alongside Ski Mask the Slump God and Comethazine, and releases the EP Young N***a Shit, according to Apple Music. Around 2019, WorldStarHipHop premieres the videos for “Arm & Hammer,” with Snap Dogg, and “Where You From” as exclusives.

On June 7, 2019, he releases Oversea, seven songs on the Get Dough label, with Slimesito on “Slatt” and Lildaddex on “Glock.” In the Melz Tv interview from the same period, the video presents him as having 500K views on WorldStarHipHop and as someone who has made music with Lil Wop, Snap Dogg, PNV Jay, and Ski Mask the Slump God.

In August 2020 he opens a second YouTube channel, @1TraeDaKidd, home to “McQueens” — his most-viewed video, with more than two million views — as well as “Wetter,” “Lost In Maze,” and “Count.” His original channel posts “Bands Dont Fold,” a vlog filmed by @fernandofelixfilms, on September 5, 2020, along with an album trailer dated that year. Apple Music lists 2022 singles “TraeDaKidd Maze,” “Ride,” “Stop It,” “No Hook Part 2,” and “Wetter.” On February 3, 2023, “Wassup” arrives with Yvng Rula, via PulpGvng Records.
