KODEINA

Kodeina opened his YouTube channel on November 16, 2017. His first uploads are a freestyle series titled “El Crucigrama” (“The Crossword”), the alias he still goes by. Two of them, from November 19, 2017, carry a challenge in the title: “Mask Off challenge” and “Bodak Yellow challenge”.

His Instagram bio calls him “La Fábrica de Punches” (“The Punchline Factory”) and describes him as a singer and songwriter. In 2020 he kept posting to his channel: “Ronca (Freestyle)” on May 13 and a video press kit, “El Próximo King”, on July 17.

On December 22, 2020 he posted “Kovid 20 (Official Video)”, which, at 343,617 views, is still the most-watched video on his channel. In 2021 came “MALDIVAS” (October 31) and “Me Falta” (November 13), both above 83,000 views; neither is on streaming platforms.

In July and August 2022 he uploaded the videos for “Autoestima” and “Battery”. Those songs, along with “Kovid 20”, did not reach streaming platforms until April 11, 2026.

His first release on Spotify as a lead artist is “Mandatorio” (December 15, 2022), credited to Young Garcia and Kodeina. Since 2023 his solo singles have come out under Los Kodigos Music, the name of his own crew: “All Cash” (September 28, 2023), whose official video premiered that same day, and “Barras Episodio 1: Década” (November 10, 2023).

In 2024 he released “Amerikan Gangster”, “El riesgo”, “Mango Kush” and “Problema”, each with a visualizer on YouTube. Apple Music dates “Problema” June 11, 2024; YouTube Music lists it on September 27, 2025.

Starting with “Mil historias” (November 26, 2025), his singles are distributed through DistroKid and most credit Luis A. Rodriguez “Mitty” in their YouTube credits: “Tecnika”, “Estación”, “Cada minuto”, “Mi HoodiE” and “BooKer”. Spotify also lists “All Inclusive”, with Naidel Cáceres. In all, his Spotify profile holds 19 releases: 17 solo and 2 as co-lead artist.

On June 4, 2026, MoluscoTV broadcast a freestyle battle between Loupz and Kodeina from El Refugio, with La Pulpa, as part of its “Freestyle Warzone” series. That series produced “Froot Loupz” and “Todólogo”, which he released as singles on July 2, 2026, produced by Mitty Mitty.

At the end of June he posted both freestyles to his channel. In an Instagram reel on June 29 he spoke to those discovering him that way: “Si llegaste por un freestyle, bienvenido” (“If you came for a freestyle, welcome”).

The description of a MoluscoTV episode from September 11, 2026 announces that Loupz and Kodeina are preparing an album together. No title or date has been published.

In September 2026, Kodeina and Loupz opened for Vico C. The sources disagree on the location: BVS Network (September 5, 2026) places the show in New Jersey, while the MoluscoTV episode description says New York.

According to his own Instagram bio, Kodeina is a backing vocalist for Chencho Corleone. His posts from September and October 2026 document tour dates in Las Vegas, Wichita (Kansas), Louisiana, Lincoln (Nebraska), Chicago, Grand Junction (Colorado) and Denver.

Kodeina now works on three fronts: his own singles under Los Kodigos Music, the freestyle work that brought him to MoluscoTV, and the stage as a backing vocalist on Chencho Corleone's tour. The album announced with Loupz is his next documented project.
