URBAN ARTISTS
Vico C — subject; co-writer; on-set consultant who coached the actors
A chronological biopic of Vico C, widely regarded as a founding figure of Spanish-language urban music: a shy childhood, a rapid rise at home and abroad, a near-career-ending accident, addiction and arrest, and a recovery built with his wife's support.
Vico C didn't just inspire the film — he co-wrote it, consulted on set, and coached the cast. His son, Luis A. "Loupz" Lozada Jr., plays him on screen, while another son, Luis Gabriel, wrote the original instrumental score.
SOUNDTRACK CONNECTION
La película utiliza versiones regrabadas de sus éxitos, incluyendo "Recta final", "Me acuerdo" y "La inglesa"; su hijo Luis Gabriel compuso la música instrumental.
