BIOGRAPHY
I. Identity
No legal name has ever been published for the producer known as AyyDot, or ProdByAyyDot — no independent source confirms one. Age and birth date are left out for a similar reason: the bio paragraph circulating across several platforms lists different ages (27, 30, and 34) depending on when it was scraped, which points to a re-indexing artifact rather than a real, changing fact.
Two other people share a similar name or handle, and neither belongs anywhere in this profile. A South Jersey/Philadelphia barber and exotic-animal trainer uses the Instagram handle @the_real_ayydot — confirmed to be someone else entirely. A YouTube channel called "@The_real_ayydot" (104K subscribers, type-beat content) turned up during this build's video-verification pass; its connection to the real AyyDot was never confirmed, so nothing on this page draws from it.
2004 · RETURN TO BOSTON
II. Boston
By his own account, in a 2015 interview with thefreshheir.wordpress.com, AyyDot is originally from Boston, came back to the city in 2004, and started producing in 2008, his senior year of high school. Before any national recognition, he worked as an engineer and mixer for rappers out of Brockton, Massachusetts.
A 2022 bio from the "Bad For The Community" podcast tells it differently, calling him "originally from Brockton, MA." Both the Boston-origin account and the Brockton engineering work trace back to independent first-party sources, so this stays on the page as an unresolved discrepancy between two accounts he's given of himself, not something this profile tries to settle.
2014–2015
III. Every Blue Moon And Wale
A 2014 Twitter campaign aimed at Wale is what first got him noticed, and it led directly to "Juggin" (Ab Icee feat. Wale & Big Wax, off Wale's Festivus mixtape). The following year brought "The Glass Egg" (Wale feat. Chrisette Michele, from The Album About Nothing, confirmed on Wikipedia), which he produced and co-wrote, and — by his own account — made him the first producer signed to Every Blue Moon.
That relationship reads as history now, not a current one: he's absent from the complete Wikipedia credit lists for Wale's two most recent studio albums, Folarin II (2021) and Everything Is a Lot (2025), both checked again this round.
2016
IV. Millyz And The ERA617 Connection
His one verified tie to ERA617 dates to 2016, when he produced "As a Man" for Millyz's album The Short Bus and also stepped in front of the mic himself, appearing alongside Dave East as a featured artist — producer and performer on the same track. Millyz already has a published CONEXIONES profile on this site.
2017–PRESENT
V. Second Act
A run of solo releases followed between 2017 and 2019: Low Tides Late Nights (2017), No Clearance (2018, under Truthmakerz Production), and the EP Formatted Drive (2019).
Things picked back up noticeably in 2024 with the albums unseriously you and on the lo-fi, followed by a string of singles across zouk, afrobeat, and Brazilian funk, and in 2025 the EP Ama Cabo Piano, a set of piano pieces in Cape Verdean Creole. That last project lines up with the flags — 🇨🇻🇦🇴 — in his current Instagram bio, which is the basis for this heritage note; a photo of him in a "REPÚBLICA DE CABO VERDE" jersey elsewhere on this page is supporting visual context only, never the sole basis for the claim itself.
The most recent release confirmed in his catalog is "HUDA MUSTAFA (HERE TOMORROW)," with S8NT, from May 2026.
