BIOGRAPHY

I. Identity

The name on Hoodie Allen's *All American* EP and Demigodz' *Killmatic* is Teddy Rosenthal, per Wikipedia's personnel credits — the same person who records today as Teddy Roxpin, and the same one Qobuz credits as "Teddy R Rosenthal" on his 2022 single "Highland Park After Dark." That single is the hinge: it's the one credit that ties both eras of his career to a single legal identity.

A Los Angeles DJ working under the name "Disco & Donuts" shares that same name, and this page states plainly that it's the SAME PERSON, not a coincidence. The case holds up from several directions: his own Instagram bio (@teddy.roxpin) names both roles in one line ("Producer • DJ / Creator of @donutsdiscoparty"); the surname Rosenthal attaches independently to both eras; his handles (@Teddy_Roxpin / teddyroxpinbeats) run unbroken from a 2013 Boston show flyer to the present; and KPFK 90.7's January 2026 bio, citing "13+ years" of DJing in Los Angeles, lines up exactly with the Massachusetts period documented before his 2016 move west. One person, two eras, two scenes — not an identity collision.

BOSTON / CAPE ELIZABETH, MAINE

II. Massachusetts

Three independent sources tie him to the state: his own bios from the credits era, a legacy ReverbNation profile that lists him in "Boston, MA," and a 2013 Boston nightlife flyer (Music Ecology, Allston). The route there wasn't straight — his family moved to Cape Elizabeth, Maine, around the time he turned 15, and he came back to Massachusetts as a high-school junior, which is when he started working with local Boston artists.

From there he kept moving: to San Diego in 2014, then to Los Angeles — Highland Park, specifically, where he still lives — in 2016.

2009–2013

III. The Label Era

Those Boston years built directly into a five-year run producing for the Demigodz circle and its orbit. He cut tracks for Apathy (*Wanna Snuggle?*, 2009; *Honkey Kong*, 2011) and for Demigodz (*Killmatic*, 2013), and landed three credits with Mac Miller: "Get Up!" (*Best Day Ever*, 2011), "Sunlight" ft. Iman Omari (*Macadelic*, 2012), and "Earth" ft. Future (*Live from Space*, 2013, co-produced with ID Labs).

Worth being precise about that last one: the Future connection runs through someone else's song — Future is a featured guest on Mac Miller's "Earth" — not a direct production credit for Future himself.

He was equally busy elsewhere in this stretch, working with Hoodie Allen ("Lucky Man," "Top of the World," the *All American* EP), Chris Webby ("Inebriated," "Judgement Day," "They Already Know," "Bounce," "What I Do"), and Michael Christmas ("Where You Been" ft. Logic, "Broke and Young," "BLUES"). The Logic credit follows the same pattern as the Future one — it runs through Michael Christmas's work, not a direct production for Logic.

2014–2016

IV. Relocation

He left for San Diego in 2014, then Los Angeles two years later, settling into Highland Park — where he still lives today.

2021–PRESENT

V. The Artist Era

A different chapter opened in 2021, when he started building a catalog under his own name as an instrumental chillhop/lo-fi artist: *Endless Beginnings* (2021, with Smile High), *chillhop beat tapes: Teddy Roxpin* (2022), and "Highland Park After Dark" (2022) — the single, already mentioned, that bridges both eras under one legal name.

That catalog grew between 2023 and 2025 with the trio Smile High/Felty — *Snack Pack* (2023) and the 14-track *The Obstacle Is the Path* (January 2025) — alongside one-off collaborations with Maximillian ("Rhodes Less Traveled," "Vermont Canyon") and Teddi Gold ("Simple Syrup").

The releases haven't stopped: a run of singles through 2025–2026, most recently "NYC to Newton" (September 2026) — the newest verified addition to his catalog.
