WALTER THE PRODUCER

Walter The Producer was making his own beats before he was a teenager. Born and raised on the South Shore of Massachusetts, he picked up guitar and piano at age 10 and was producing beats by 13.

The stage name belongs to Reid — independently confirmed by two sources (a Hashtag Magazine profile and a separate summary drawing on BMI/Shazam data), neither of which documents a surname, so none is given here. He produces, mixes, and masters all of his own music; being a producer is as central to his identity as being an artist.

That self-sufficiency carries into a steady release schedule. His Apple Music catalog shows continuous output since 2023: the mixtape *No Substance Mixtape* (2023), the album *PLEASE HELP ME I'M SCARED* (2024), and the EP *Modern Rock* (2025), alongside singles such as "Velma," "Since September," "Little Lies," "Look What That Woman Has Done," "Believe," and "Roadtrip." His most recently confirmed release is "The Red Line Theory" (July 2026).

Where he currently lives is not independently confirmed — one source (Hashtag Magazine, October 2024) places him in Los Angeles, another in Brooklyn. This profile states neither; his Massachusetts origin is the established fact, not his present-day base.
