DOCUMENTED HISTORY
ORIGINS
I. Cheeseaholic and Brockton
Cheeseaholic is an NBA 2K content creator and streamer associated with Brockton, Massachusetts. His X profile lists Brockton, MA; his TikTok bio reads “DID IT ALL IN MY CITY BROCKTON”; and in 2019 he posted “Giving Back To Brockton pt1,” a video in which he takes a kid from his block on a shopping spree. BlogTO described him in 2023 as “based in Brockton, Massachusetts,” known for NBA 2K content, vlogs, and pranks. None of those sources gives a birthplace or a neighborhood, and this archive doesn't state either.
2014–2017
II. 2014–2017 — A Channel That Takes Off with NBA 2K17
His YouTube channel is listed as opened on December 26, 2014, but its own description says “STARTED YT IN 2017,” and his oldest public video is from February 17, 2017: an NBA 2K17 tutorial. In January 2017, per TwitchTracker, his Twitch channel opens too. That spring he posts tutorials and dribble-combo “mixtapes”; the April 1, 2017 one now has more than 211,000 views.
2017–2018
III. 2017–2018 — Dribble God
On August 8, 2017, he gathers several players for “Ultimate Dribble God Showdown,” with iRunYew, ayyyMark, and xKyriie, among others. On August 21, 2018, he posts “Backseat” to his channel, a music video with Lil Zayy. In October 2018 comes “My Brother and I Snap a 100 Game Winstreak,” from NBA 2K19, which has nearly two million views.
2019–2021
IV. 2019–2021 — The Leap from NBA 2K19 to NBA 2K21
On December 9, 2019, he posts “I Got Bullied For Being A Rookie Then Pulled Up In MASCOTS NBA 2K20,” today his most-viewed video, with nearly seven million views. In 2020 he strings together a video of his run to Legend on the 1v1 court, which he titles as a first for a “dribble god” (February 20), a guide to his best dribble moves (May 4), and build guides for NBA 2K20 and NBA 2K21. With Snagaholic he forms a duo that returns in 2020 and 2021, with 100-win-streak videos. His entertainment output of those years — online challenges and comedy videos — explains much of his numbers.
2022–2024
V. 2022–2024 — Steady Across Editions
He keeps the pace with a build guide for NBA 2K22 (September 10, 2021) and the “builds” series for each new edition. On June 14, 2023, the official NBA 2K channel publishes an interview with him, “Cheeseaholic Talks Life Outside Of NBA 2K Content Creation.” In November 2024 he posts a $1,000 wager against Lonzo Ball and Jalen Carter in NBA 2K25.
2025–2026
VI. 2025–2026 — The League and the Duo's Return
On August 31, 2025, he posts “The Undefeated Duo” with Cash Nasty, and on October 23, the duo's return with Snagaholic in NBA 2K26. In December, the description of one of his videos says “Watch me compete in the 2K League.” On February 2, 2026, the league's official channel posts his showdown with Commissioner Jesser. In summer 2026, the official Contenders Circuit page — a content-creator competition run by the NBA 2K League, with three creators per franchise — lists him on the Boston Celtics team, alongside Flexinn and Joey 2K. The records consulted document him as a creator in that circuit; they do not present him as a professional league player.
2026
VII. 2026 — NBA 2K27
From August 2026, his content moves to NBA 2K27, with a match against the new No. 1 ranked player and a series on reaching Veteran. His most recent video, from October 16, 2026, spends five million VC on the new builds. As of October 23, 2026, his YouTube channel has 1.57 million subscribers and more than 318 million views; his Twitch channel, 208,000 followers.
