A father and his daughter must confront an unknown presence inside their own home.

“Who’s There?” was directed and edited by Ryan Doris, a television director of photography based in the Boston area, in his own home — the first and so far only narrative project he has directed. It was produced by Alecia Orsini Lebeda, a Massachusetts-based line producer, under the Imitation Films Partnership banner. The short premiered in 2024 at the Boston Underground Film Festival, the Boston International Film Festival, and the Seattle International Film Festival, and was released for free on the YouTube channel of ALTER, a licensed horror-shorts distribution label. It should never be confused with a separate, unrelated 2024 short also titled “Who’s There” (no question mark), by an unrelated filmmaker.
